Yes. We work on the front and rear suspension: control arms, bushings, ball joints, links, shock absorbers and wheel bearings. A knocking noise, play or vibration is not enough to identify the faulty part: we inspect the vehicle before proposing replacement. We do not carry out wheel alignment or geometry; if adjustment is needed after the work, it must be done at an equipped centre.

Yes. We replace timing belts and chains, as well as auxiliary drive belts. The scope of the work may include idlers, tensioners and the water pump, depending on the engine and the parts to be replaced. Yes. We diagnose starting or charging faults and replace the alternator or starter when the diagnosis confirms it. A battery warning light or a car that no longer starts may also require checking the battery, connections and electrical supply. Describe what happens when starting and which warning lights are shown. The correct part for your vehicle and the cost of replacement are confirmed with the workshop.

Yes. Our workshop carries out engine fault diagnosis and replaces components such as the turbocharger and injectors, as well as the engine when necessary. A loss of power, smoke or irregular running requires diagnosis before deciding on the work. We will agree with you the parts needed, the operations and the estimated lead time. For major replacements, the budget is set by quote after inspection of the vehicle.

Yes. We replace the clutch kit and, when its condition requires it, the flywheel. We also inspect the related parts involved in the job, including the release bearing and clutch actuation system. If the clutch slips, vibrates or makes gear changes difficult, please specify when it happens. The model, engine and gearbox type help prepare an estimate; the quote then confirms the parts and labour.

Yes. We offer maintenance and oil changes for automatic gearboxes, fault diagnosis and replacement if necessary. The oil, its quantity, the filter or strainer and the service method depend on the gearbox fitted to the vehicle. Please mention jerks, gear selection issues and any known service history. The diagnosis and quote determine the suitable service: an oil change alone does not always solve a gearbox fault.

Yes. We look for the source of oil and coolant leaks, then replace the faulty parts: seals, hoses, radiator, water pump or other components depending on the inspection result. A mark on the ground or a drop in level alone does not make it possible to locate the leak. Please tell us which fluid is concerned, how often you top it up, and any dashboard messages, so we can prepare your visit.

Yes. We carry out mechanical, electrical and electronic diagnostics, as well as coding, adaptations and ECU programming depending on the vehicle and the job. These operations may be necessary, in particular after replacing a component. Send us the model, year and exact fault message, if there is one. We check whether the work is feasible and what is required before quoting the job; a fault code alone does not constitute a diagnosis.

Yes. We take care of air conditioning problems: fault or leak finding, checking operation and replacing defective components. If the air no longer cools, if a noise appears or if the operation is intermittent, please describe the symptom. The inspection helps to specify the work and parts needed depending on the vehicle. A recharge on its own does not fix a leak or a faulty component.

Yes. MB GARAGE welcomes all makes of cars and light commercial vehicles in Antibes for servicing, diagnostics and mechanical or electronic repairs. We work on everyday cars as well as saloons, SUVs and sports models. For a van, please specify its version and size so we can check the conditions for taking it in. For a service, indicate the mileage and the work already carried out.

Yes, an initial estimate can be prepared from the vehicle and the work you want. The online calculation is indicative; a diagnosis may be necessary to draw up the quote. We offer labour fixed prices for common jobs. Outside fixed-price jobs, the hourly rate is €96 including VAT in T1 (€80 excluding VAT) or €108 including VAT in T2 (€90 excluding VAT), depending on complexity. Parts and supplies are listed separately in the quote.

No. We do not carry out bodywork painting or wheel alignment/geometry adjustments. Our activity focuses on servicing, mechanical, electrical and electronic car repairs. However, repairs to running gear, shock absorbers and suspension are part of our work. When a geometry adjustment is needed after this work, it must be arranged at a centre with the proper equipment.
