Privacy & GDPR
This page explains which information is used on the MB GARAGE website, why it is used and how to contact us about your personal data.
Who is responsible for your data?
MB GARAGE, 41 boulevard Gustave Chancel, 06600 Antibes, is responsible for processing the requests received on this site. For any questions: mbgarage.fr@gmail.com.
Your requests and estimates
Depending on the service used, you provide your name, a phone number or email, your vehicle, the work requested and your message. This information is used to reply to your request and to prepare an estimate, a quote or an appointment. This processing is based on pre-contractual measures taken at your request. Fields marked as required are necessary to process the form; other details are optional.
Registered requests are accessible to the owner in the workshop area. They are removed from tracking after 90 days and deleted the next time a request is received or this area is viewed. Quotes and invoices issued afterwards are subject to separate processing, with their own retention obligations.
The adviser and AI calculations
When you ask a question or launch an automatic calculation, the information entered about your vehicle, the work and the context of the exchange is sent to the OpenAI API service. Avoid entering personal or confidential information that is not necessary for your request.
The answers are indicative: they do not constitute a final diagnosis, an accepted quote or a confirmation of an appointment. The work and its price are confirmed with the workshop. You can also contact us directly by phone or message.
The site does not keep a permanent chat history, unless you choose to attach the exchange to a saved request. Storage of responses by the provider is disabled; however, its security logs may be retained in accordance with its terms.
A technical search may transmit the vehicle details and requested operations to the search engine used by OpenAI. Technical results and their sources are reused for up to seven days. Workshop-approved records are kept until they are changed or deleted.
Cookies, drafts and click tracking
Your browser stores some settings and drafts to make the site easier to use. The calculator draft is reused for up to 24 hours in the same tab. You can clear it with “Start again”. The draft of a question stays in the tab session.
Optional click counting remains off without your consent. If allowed, only the day, action type, channel and a total are kept for 90 days, without request text or visitor ID. Your choice is stored in the browser and can be changed via “Privacy preferences” at the bottom of the page. This choice can also be cleared with the site data in your browser.
No Google Ads or Meta advertising pixel is enabled on this site. The general source of a visit, indicated in the link used, may accompany a form sent to the workshop; no individual advertising identifier is collected in this form.
Messaging, map and providers
The WhatsApp and Telegram buttons prepare an exchange with the workshop. Check the summary before sending it in the chosen app. These services apply their own privacy policies.
The Google Maps map loads automatically as the “Contact & access” block comes into view. This connection transmits technical information to Google, including your IP address. Google may use cookies or other trackers depending on its services and your browser settings. See the Google privacy policy.
The site and its database are hosted on a Hostinger virtual private server. Automatic processing of questions involves the OpenAI API and its providers. Processing may take place outside the European Economic Area depending on the configuration of these services. See information on the OpenAI privacy and its data processing agreement. You can contact us for details on providers and the applicable safeguards.
Site reviews and security
The names, avatars and review excerpts shown come from public Google reviews, with a link to their source. They are used to present customer experiences. To request a correction or removal of an item reproduced on our site, write to us.
To limit abuse, the site uses technical counters based on an IP address fingerprint, renewed daily. The IP address is not stored in plain text in these counters. They expire after 24 hours at most and are deleted on subsequent requests. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in protecting the site’s operation.
Your choice regarding click tracking is kept for up to 180 days. After it expires, tracking remains disabled until you give new consent.
Your rights and contact
You can request access, rectification or erasure of your data and, depending on the applicable conditions, restriction or portability, or object to processing. You can withdraw your consent to click tracking at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
To exercise your rights, write to mbgarage.fr@gmail.com stating your request and the information needed to find the relevant exchange. You may also submit a complaint to the CNIL.
